Maybe this is an overshare on the work website, but listening to the latest Wet Tuna album while on an evening walk last week single-handedly dragged me out of a depressive rut by the collar.
Spacious and spacey bedroom psych that sparkles and flows with a new funk-centric approach that I don’t recall in the other Wet Tuna releases I’ve heard. Like a meeting between Royal Trux, Brown Rice-era Don Cherry, and Betty Davis stitched together with some of the DIY synth psych haze of early CD-R era Kurt Vile. Expansive and feel good stuff!
