Unholy Redeemer - Journey Beyond Death LP

Unholy Redeemer features members from Denmark, Finland and Australia and play death metal of the “old school” variety. While we’re in no shortage of contemporary OSDM, the effectiveness of ‘Journey Beyond Death’ has made it hard to take off the stereo. They’ve taken the righteous dark path (no shortcuts) to classic death metal: a murky, oppressive atmosphere with invigorating, highly headbangable riffs. No gimmicks, nothing cartoonishly retro, just a refined and scholarly dedication to a timeless, brutal sound. Fans of Incantation, Morbid Angel and Dead Congregation take note.– Nic

Consisting of members from Australia, Denmark and Finland, UNHOLY REDEEMER formed over a passion for late 80s and early 90s death metal. These efforts bore the five-track onslaught that stands before us today. "Journey Beyond Death" offers everything fans of brutal old-school death could ask for - demonic vocals, punishing riffs, and intensely crushing percussion. Despite their geographic distance, these seasoned veterans of the global underground metal scene came together to create a piece of work that faithfully adheres to that classic death metal sound. – Dark Descent / Extremely Rotten Productions
