Incredible second 7" from little known Brisbane jangle-pub rockers!
I remember reading about The Bent Elbows 1st 7" on the Wallaby Beat blog in 2012 and being intrigued by this Brisbane band that toed the line between suburban pub rock and their local precursors to punk, The Saints.
A decade on a small box of their 1988 7" EP 'Principle New' have somehow made their way into the shop. While the sound has somewhat changed, *gasp* maybe even matured to early Go-Betweens/Moles/Apartments territory, there's a charm and raggedness that makes this one a winner!
Note the hand-made corrections to the wedding invitation-esque sleeve and slight discolouration/storage marks. Oh and there's a coaster promising more to come from The Bent Elbows archives! - Nic
