"Textures is the second release by Meanjin/Brisbane ased independent record label and online music publication Age Of Leisure. At its heart, this project is a love letter to the Meanjin underground, a peak under the rug of the vibrant diversity in our post-genre community.

The album is a compilation of seven local sound practitioners. It asks listeners to consider the textural qualities of visual objects, and how these can be reinterpreted in a musical context. Contributing artists were encouraged to engage with the concept by meditating on physical or non-physical objects and allow this to influence their musical contribution to the album." - Age Of Leisure
