Terry - Call Me Terry LP

The welcome return of Terry on 'Call Me Terry' sees them at their most Alternative TV and Abba-y. Maybe that's a stretch, actually no, now I think it's a fair call. Either way I need some preamble before stating this is my favourite Terry record to date!!!

‘Call Me Terry' isn't a departure from the tone of Terry, but this collection of songs seem particularly dense with choice ideas. There's things to digest and read further into, or enjoy as surface poetic phrases. Generally it's full of life and feels very much, how do you say, about stuff.

Ambitious, sometimes obtuse production embellishments in bite sized pop songs, with guitar sounds reminiscent of Fripp guesting in popular music or if Nick Blinko played guitar in Protex. - Nic
