Another familiar face and voice in the racks of the shop, this time with a new project. Tom Ridgewell of Woollen Kits, Constant Mongrel, and Calamari Girls has debuted his solo moniker, TB Ridge As The Director, on Antifade. Five home-recorded tracks that lay tribute to TB’s Rock’n’Roll Heart via Lour Reed/Alex Chilton-esque strut over repetitive backing before ending on a Bandcap-MIDI lounge-jazz number.
