Tara Clerkin Trio - On The Turning Ground 12"

After watching from afar the last couple of years and never being able to get a hold of their releases in time, this time we’ve finally secured copies of Tara Clerkin Trio’s latest.

The mini-LP opens with hints of their previous work in a between jazz, “sound,” and ambience before shifting gears into a slightly more pop and trip-hop oriented approach. Cascading guitar lines and harpsichord, ethereal vocals, verb’d out atmospherics, and skittering beats.

One for fans of Hydroplane, Maxine Funke’s more recent instrumental works, YL Hooi, and Troth!
