Straight Arrows - Surface World LP

Straight Arrows are one of those rare groups who hold a special place in Sydney’s musical landscape. A mainstay who seem to have been a welcoming entry point into independent music for so many of us who turned 18 in the last 15-odd years and a group that has been openly embraced by a demographic who crave waves of garage rock revivalism from Australia’s past.

Their 4th LP offers up more of what we’ve all come to know and love from the group: infectious hooks, fuzzed out vocals, and boundless energy. A group that is straight up enough to keep it faithful to their love of first waves of garage rock and psych (Ain’t no surface level posing here) but with a few surprises thrown in (a bongo interlude, anyone?) .
