Still House Plants - If I don’t make it, I love u LP

The UK’s Still House Plants return for their 3rd LP; an intricate tangle of guitars that recall Midwest-emo or the post-rock playing of David Grubbs, drums that recall a human approach to replicating DAW composed cut up rhythm sections, and aone of the most singular voices in contemporary music. While sitting within a post-punk/post-rock trajectory, ‘If I don’t make it, I love u’ sounds to me like it taps into the contemporary more so than sepia toned genre nostalgia.
