A fantastic slice of Brisbane synth-pop from a few years back. Laura Hill (aka Scraps) manages to do a lot with her small arsenal of analogue electronic gear, and unlike most of her synth-wave counterparts demonstrates some real skills on the keys that subtly recall funk/soul/disco moves. There’s a special atmosphere to this record, heightened by a couple of field recordings/taped conversations weaved in. It’s seductive, cheeky, fun and vulnerable, check it out!
