Scarcity Of Tanks take a hap-hazardous, collectivist approach to underground rock that embraces both art and dirt, a.k.a 'The Cleveland Method'. I can hear echoes of The Easter Monkeys, Pere Ubu, Albert Ayler and even near-neighbours The Counter Intuits.
Very strange that the only place I've ever seen this band praised is a Lulu's newsletter, especially considering they've got links to The Red Krayola, Sun City Girls and on this record, The Stooges. Let's hope word travels as it's real good stuff! - Nic
