New Zealand/Melbourne sub-basement rocker Lynton Denovan churned out some of the most ruling riffs of the last decade in bands such as Encounter Group, Assetstripper and Satanic Rockers, and alone as Sacred Product.
The lumbering, hypnotic riff-style of Sacred Product may have an origin in Black Sabbath but it’s a project that rejects the big-amp-worship bravado, carving out a uniquely busted sound via a resourceful use of wallet friendly amps and recording apparatus.
