Neu! – Neu! LP

I was going to make a joke about Neu’s debut being Germany’s answer to Aerosmith’s ‘Toys In The Attic’, but astonishingly ‘Neu!’ came out in 1972, three years before Aerosmith truly hit their stride. The premise of this joke is the stereotype of the efficient and minimal German versus the glamour and excess of the North American. 

Roxy Music’s debut also came out in 1972, that’s less silly a comparison. Anyway, if anyone out there has a simple idea as good as ‘Neu!’, make sure you share it with the world! — Nic
