Youth Of Today – Break Down The Walls LP

Check out this dude in the front row on the cover of Youth Of Today’s ‘Break Down The Walls’ in the Butthole Surfers t-shirt!!! From the expression on his face, I’m not sure that he’s ‘Thinking Straight’ but hopefully he left with a ‘Positive Outlook’.

Anyway, Danbury, Connecticut’s Youth Of Today go hard and this record is full to the brim with youthful energy and conviction. I love the Butthole Surfers but would argue some of the vocal noises Ray Cappo makes on this one are as (positively) absurd as anything they ever recorded. — Nic
