Urge is proud to present the debut tape by Norway's Que Lindo.
It's appropriately unhinged for a band reared by the same country that birthed some of music's most aggressive nihilists. But if this is True Norwegian Hardcore, it's delivered with some semblance of a knowing wink, if not a tongue fully in its cheek. While refreshingly devoid of stifling self-seriousness, it is also not content to rely on gimmick, and there aren't exactly any friendly hooks to speak of either; it simply rips in that know-it-when-you-hear it way that elevates any punk band who are deranged enough to strive beyond mediocrity. If comparisons must be made, golden era Ground Zero hardcore comes close. Perhaps the State of Norway is also Toxic?
