Another dispatch from Sweden-based duo of Rupe Edwards (of Dick Diver fame) and David Richardson.

Where their previous tape tapped into a Durrutti Column, this 7” feels closer to a Shadow Ring or Mosquitoes-adjacent project, with in-the-red busted vocalisations, morphing sheets-clumped-up-in-the-dryer rhythms, electric crackle, gurgling beats, modulating synthesisers, and (literal) bells and whistles.

One to file alongside Nathan Roche’s releases with CIA Debutante as Oz wordsmith makes venture into intriguing and enjoyably mysterious electronics.
