Noise Levels Zine #7: Tutti Parze

Tutti Parze were a Sydney/Melbourne/Mullumbimby-based anarcho punk band who lit Sydney on fire with their rabble-rousing grass roots activism and political messaging. This zine tells their story in their own words but it’s also the story of punk squatting culture, the antagonistic relationship between Australian ‘80s punks and the police, and the undying urge to ‘bite back’ at the authorities.

Bringing together painstakingly-collected archival material from over 30 separate sources, as well as new interviews with 7 people who performed within the band itself, the narrative presented within this zine is the culmination of two years-worth of research conducted as part of the Noise Levels project.
