Mordecai - College Rock LP

Even though Mordecai are from the other side of the world, they’re a band that I’ll always associate in my mind with this shop (mostly due to Nic’s enthusiastic peddling of their albums). 

Lurching basement rock that’s both no-nonsense but not the same old rock thing. Digging under the layers of tape hiss and GBV-esque recording defects, there’s catchy melodies and witty lyrics that still feel fresh all these years on. 

An all time store favourite!
