Microfiche - Everything and Other Infinities CD

Sydney based improvising collective Microfiche announce the release of their second album, Everything and Other Infinities, on Portuguese label Creative Sources Recordings.

Since forming in 2015, Microfiche have developed a unique sound that embraces freedom and experimentation. Influenced by the musical philosophies of John Cage and Morton Feldman, the group has developed a distinctive approach to music-making featuring spaces of meditative soundscapes and evolving loops that collide with strong rhythmic outbursts and melodic catharsis.

Recorded in late 2019, Everything and Other Infinities presents an energetic set of music that the band developed on their 2019 Europe tour, which included performances at Copenhagen Jazz Festival as well as shows in Berlin & Stockholm. - Creative Sources Recordings
