Bathing In The Stone is the latest LP from Mazozma, otherwise known as the ever-prolific Ma Turner (of much loved around these parts bands such as Warmer Milks and State Champion). What is most immediately arresting here are the waves of shimmering twelve string guitars from Turner and James Bandenburg, panned and playing off one another. Meditative, drifting, drummerless, and crisply recorded tracks that exist in the axis of New Weird America/Freak Folk approaches to UK folk traditions, which is all to say - one for fans of Ned Collette! –Mitch
