Gareth is renowned for playing integral roles in some of the 90s most ‘out there’ acts in Bzark and The Ergot Derivative as well as being a go to guest musician for ARIA topping albums by Powderfinger, Bertie Blackman, Something For Kate, Gotye, Wagons and many more.

In recent years as well as being a full time member of The Sand Pebbles, Gareth Skinner has been developing his own music. The result is this debut band album, Off // Axis, a record which cleverly crosses from elevated, grunge to Arthur Russell-esque haunting pop.

From a very wide choice of musicians Gareth has hand picked a crème of Melbourne musicians to form this band – Ben Michael X (The Sand Pebbles), Suzie Lou and Drew Caldwell (Disaster Plan / Breather Hole), Joel Silbersher and Sarah Blaby (Double Vanity) as a member of the live band. - Kasumuen Records
