Can’t remember if Nic initially wrote about this album when we first had it stocked, but got a grip of some more of Life Without Buildings’ sole 2000 studio album.
Listening now, it seems that this LP serves as a blueprint of sorts for so many UK art school groups today (including Dry Cleaning): vocals that present a pensive take on Mark E. Smith stream of consciousness, wiry guitars, and a melodic approach to post-punk/post-rock!
