Leighton Craig - Diamond Eye LP

This one is a real beauty I come back to every couple of months. Leighton Craig is one half of Brisbane duo Primitive Motion.'Diamond Eye' is described via the presser as being a collection of "lo fi songs, static electricity and long distance bewitchment".

A rare record that can captivate your 'deep listening' sound art heads but also contains an engaging universal beauty within the simple melodies. So much so that it caught the attention of my (then) 3 year old who at the time only ever really wanted Roky Erickson or The Misfits on the turntable (a big Horror Rock fan!).
