L$D Fundraiser - Witness Disco LP

‘Witness Disco’ seesaws between mediation and bad trip, utilising the signature L$D Fundraiser system of sound arrangement that blurs ideas of music and rhythm and composition and chaos. Two side long pieces are presented with an odd but cohesive internal logic. An assortment of tape loops, field recordings and a wicked wah wah solo ending lethargically nudge each other out of the spotlight.

I’m reminded of Russ Waterhouse of Blues Control’s sole solo LP for Drag City, Aaron Dilloway and recent folks that’ve been doing interesting and disorientating stuff with unruly loops/repetition: Leda, Emily Robb and Rosali’s Edsel Axle project. - Nic
