Another collab from two of the greats of contemporary improvised music!

Jim White with his signature across the kit sound playing alongside Marisa Anderson’s droning American Primitive inflected guitar lines. Like watching a storm roll in over the ocean from a distance, there’s a bulk and relentless driving force to these recordings, but with surprising pivots on blues or folk guitar turnarounds.

One for fans of other killer guitar and drum duos from the last couple years like Bill Orcutt and Chris Corsano or Monocot (Rosali Middleman and Jayson Gerycz).
