Jeff, Unfortunately - Lexapro Blues CD-R
Home brewed, deep fried, rambling rawness. Jeff the Bay Stater shares his crumpled thoughts via broken ballads and barely there blues, sidestepping grace so you can have a full huff of the cosmic cake. A series of skittering bedroom vignettes stitched together to form a misshapen whole. Like one of the more folk tinged ESP-Disks but with far more hotrock burns on the cover. Half baked is the new full baked. –Chocolate Monk
"The songs that make up Lexapro Blues were recorded in the year of our Lord 2024. I recorded em on a shitty lil four track app on my phone in North Central Massachusetts. There's an unabashed David Crosby sample (whoops) that I added a drum track too (why). There's heavy breathing, a staircase built by MC Escher. Caked in resin fingers finger lead guitar without any knowledge of scales. Somewhere between the electronic drum crashes and twang, u may feel punished or loved......I record lots of music, like it matters. You can hear more at spaghetti tapes Bandcamp , unfortunately" –Jeff, Unfortunately
