Family Underground - Glitchblade / Sand Between Us 7"

The series of 7”s that we’ve had through this year from I Dischi Del Barone (IDDB) have reinvigorated my interest in the format as a way of exploring a world that seems to sit in the edges of experimental music, drone, psych, noise, electronics, etc.

Family Underground’s contribution to the label is no different. A longstanding experimental/improvisational group from Copenhagen, this 7” sees them in duo mode, one side of space-age modular sounding synths that break up into lo-fi overdriven and a side of droney electronics with a free-rockin’ guitar throughout.
