When I say FAKE! You say DUST! FAKE! DUST! FAKE! DUST! FAKE! DUST! FAKE! DUST! Whoomp, here it is, 19 certified grindcore rumpshakers from Portland’s Fake Dust. Obviously I cannae understand a single lyric but from the artwork and once-over of the inserts they poignantly grapple with the intersection of our techno dystopia, advanced warfare, xtreme uneasiness and the human condition. 

Disorientating, mesmerising, bamboozling stuff that I bet is waaaay speedier than the superfast NBN plans the bigwig telecom companies are pushing. Fans of Insect Warfare, Discordance Axis and Internal Rot, or even stuff that sits at a grind speed but culturally sits in the Power Violence camp, take note! – Nic
