Exek - Good Thing They Ripped Up The Carpet LP

Exek are back with another album of the kind of dubby post-punk that we’ve come to know and love! Woozy instrumentation under Albert’s left-of-field vocals and lyrics (a Judge Judy inspired track!?)

Their first new material in almost two years there’s also a hard to describe melodicism underlying it all that I don’t recall on previous releases maybe brought on by what sounds to me like a bit more of a band-in-the-room approach at points but still with a touch of studio trickery!
