‘Fantastic Damage’ would have exploded my head Scanners style if I was able to get my hands on it upon its initial release in 2002. As a regional wigger who had just read the basic dystopian classics ‘Brave New World’ and ‘1984’, who was also extremely hungry for RZA and The Bomb Squad style collaged production, it would’ve been a perfect match.

Well, truth be told, that teenage dystopian wigger still occupies a part of my inner being and today the solo debut of El-P (Company Flow, Run The Jewels) feels about as good as it gets! Still so much to chew on here, extremely dense and intense Hip Hop. For fans of J. G. Ballard, Godflesh, Earl Sweatshirt, Wu-Tang, Shaun Prescott, C.R.A.I.G, Mike, Dr. Octagon, i dunno maybe Death Grips too — Nic
