Daniel O'Toole - Outer Magnolia LP

Outer Magnolia is a new album by Daniel O’Toole, exploring psychedelic folky electronica through custom-built instruments, acoustic textures, and electronic processes. At the centre of the record are two unique inventions, the Electric Moon Guitar and the Particle Plate, which blur the line between composition, chance, and physical gesture.

The music was created during an off-grid artist residency on Birpai Country, surrounded by Australian bushland, where slower rhythms of living and listening shaped the work. The result is a collection of immersive, gently hypnotic pieces that move between delicate melody, drifting harmony, and softly unfolding texture.
