Australian duo CS + Kreme, AKA Conrad Standish and Sam Karmel, follow up their Trilogy Tapes album with a stretched-out, 12” trip, howwouldyoufeelwithoutthatthought. At 16 minutes and 11 minutes respectively, both tracks are psychedelic marathons which leave you in a different place to where you started. They’re simmering melting-pots of cello, lap steel guitar, peculiar percussion and faint touches of exotica. The B-side, ‘Bugged,’ is the more urgent of the two, cursing through a rich sound world like a low canopy river. When the beat of ‘Bugged’ kicks in, it goes straight to the head. - The Trilogy Tapes
