This CD comes in a 251 page paperback book edited by Decibel members Cat Hope and Lindsay Vickery, entitled "Actions | Remarks : John Cage’s Variations and the expansion of the score, sonic materials, space, and the environment."
It features 12 articles about the John Cage series of works, Variations, from I - VIII by leading authors Leta E Miller, David P. Miller, Paul van Emmerick, Vincent Bonin, James Pritchett, Thomas DeLio, Atau Tanaka/Matt Wand/:zoviet*france, Lindsay Vickery, Cat Hope, Stuart James and an introduction by Warren Burt. The book is dedicated to Lelio Gianetto, who supported the premiere of the Complete John Cage Variations Project performance in Sicily, Italy in 2012.
