Broken Telepathy - Broken Telepathy LP

Featuring two members of NY’s Soft Gang, Broken Telepathy remind me of a particularly great era of the Oz Underground, suitably, slightly before my time (if I was gonna put a rough date on it I wanna say 2009-2011). Something of a marrying of open-ended kraut approaches with pummelling post-punk and abrasive no wave that makes me think of Blank Realm, Naked On The Vague, Fabulous Diamonds or pre-disco Holy Balm, all skittering breakbeat drums, noir-ish guitar lines, synth squelches, lo-fi tape manipulation murk, and half spoken vocals.
