Finally got a hold of copies of Bobby Would’s wonky pop LP from last year, World Wide World. Homespun and rickety tunes that somehow piece together infectious melody and deadpan expression, combining jangling guitars, swirling tape hiss psychedelia, and sputtering drum machines in a manner that sounds like old doo-wop 45s played at the wrong speed but somehow still being able to peer into the future and pluck out influence from groups like Television Personalities or The Clean. For fans of Itchy Bugger or The Stevens!
