The new Arvalastra album has been channeled into the macrocosmos. Between acoustic passages and a bass sound that cuts like the caustic and abrasive desert winds, Arvalastra embarks on a journey that goes back to one of the origins of the art, the medieval islamic world.

Exploring the works of alchemists like Ibn Umayl, Khalid ibn Yazid and Jabir ibn Hayyan, this takes the listener back to a time when proto-chemistry, religion and occult practices where the common terrain of the century. By this time, Dusk has prove that he does not need a guitar for provoking this ancient and mysterious feeling, using only a bass guitar for channeling the knowledge of the philosophers.
