"When I first started venturing out of the house as Absurd Cosmos Late Nite in 2016, a friend told me the project probably had enough juice for three live outings before it would become stale. I agreed, and duly released the second and third performances as Final Lives in 2017.
But then it kept lumbering on. Final Lives II, Final Lives III. These are more Final Lives, this time from Cafe OTO in London and the Colour Out of Space festival in Brighton in April 2026. Unlike the preceding local sets, these recordings are variations on a common theme: an Australian expat banging on to an acquaintance visiting from Australia. Possibly not an uncommon occurrence in the UK?"
