75 Dollar Bill - I Was Real CD

With every lineup announcement of a large government funded arts festival my heart inevitably sinks and I become a bit disillusioned with the whole thing when 75 Dollar Bill don’t feature. 

For the time being I guess we’ll have to settle for a CD of their opus (thus far), I Was Real. A hypnotic drive of microtonal guitars and timber crate percussion with fuller band sections, like a scrap heap turned into a woozy marching band playing music between Ornette Coleman and Parson Sound.

One to unite those from all sectors of the cultural music/arts festival community, from those looking for contemporary jazz, to those looking for something on the stranger psychedelic end, to those looking for something world music inflected, etc etc.

Note: does not include $75 inside…
