While Marquee Moon may be one of the more perfect and crafted “punk” studio recordings, this LP collects what came before in demo form.

Including recordings from before Richard Hell was booted from the group and those legendary abandoned Eno sessions, Television don’t quite hit the transcendent heights of what became Marquee Moon. Instead there’s a ramshackledness and sketchiness to these recordings that not only captures the manic energy of the Hell years, but also feels like peeking under the hood of what would become a well oiled machine!
