Dewlow has established a potent figure in over a decade of releases as People Skills on labels such as Siltbreeze, Blackest Ever Black, Kashual Plastik, I Dischi Del Barone and, most recently, Digital Regress. Quite the CV.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe hauntological sense is strong in these works, but in no way lacking character for their subtlety. There are clearly defined anatomies of songs buried midst the fug.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSeeing People Skills in a live context really gave me another layer of appreciation for what Dewlow does. He need not rely on tricks of overdubbing and recording to tape-machine to achieve his supernatural murk, but is able to conjure his confounding spells right before the eyes.
