Over the last several years, ever since the release of their debut full-length “Odori Sepulcrorum” (one of the most heralded death metal releases of 2013) which followed their “Exalted Emanations” debut EP, England’s GRAVE MIASMA have risen to the upper echelons of the true underground death metal movement of present day.
Through the band’s style of atmospheric prog-infused dark death metal, GRAVE MIASMA have proven to be one of present-day death metal’s most creative entities. With their new mini-album “Endless Pilgrimage” (which was recorded, mixed, and mastered once again by Jaime Gomez Arellano in Orgone Studios solely via analog methods, capturing that ancient death metal vibe), a five track 35-minute journey depicting spiritual death throughout the ages, GRAVE MIASMA have harnessed a new level of creativity to their oeuvre.
More otherworldly, more progressive, and more challenging in sound, “Endless Pilgrimage” (which includes a reprisal version of “Glorification Of The Impure”, a song from the band’s Goat Mölestor demo days) is another treasure of true death metal that embodies an unparalleled vision within the genre.
