So we love to see Sunburned Records come out with a classic 2-in-1 format CD release to keep these albums in circulation!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eBuddy-band country rock anthems largely sung in loose duo harmony about fucking up, drinking, going to the beach, writing your will, and hanging with the wrong crowd. This isn’t all doom and gloom though, with a joy and silliness to the songs and a killer turn of phrase (“I like Jesus, he turns water into wine” or “Everybody knows some guys like me, we’re dime a dozen, you probably know three”) over wandering guitar and pedal steel licks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eOn the country front it feels as though it marries the outlaw stylings of Johnny Paycheck or David Allan Coe with the prettiness of Gene Clark, or would even appeal to locals who love Possible Humans.
