Vinyl
EX+ Our highest grade. Basically means the record looks possibly unplayed or at most like it was played carefully only a few times. Minimal (less than 5) if any spindle marks.
EX Close to our EX+ description. Just might have a faint mark or two or signs that it was played but only if you look very closely. Spindle marks but not excessive (less than 10)
EX- Slightly more signs of use but this is still a very nice copy. This is not a record that was played excessively. A few marks perhaps but nothing that will affect sound quality or cause needle to skip.
VG+ This looks like it was played a number of times and has marks but nothing to cause a skip and is still a very good listening copy. See description for specifics.
VG Has marks and scratches and may even skip in one or two spots but in the main is still playable. See description for details. Very rarely sell a record in this condition.
G Total crap. Scratches. Skips all over the place. As of yet we have never sold a record in this condition and we probably never will.
Sleeves
EX+ Our highest grade. Basically looks new or like it was handled only a handful of times.
EX Very minimal signs that it's been handled. Perhaps one or two very faintly dinged corners or a small mark or two. Very light foxing if any.
EX- Slightly worse than EX but still very nice. Perhaps a little bit of sunning to the spine or has one or two seriously dinged corners. Light foxing that does not overwhelm.
VG+ This is a copy that is showing average wear and tear for a record thats been played multiple times but is still in reasonable shape. Might have a slightly split spine that's been repaired or writing on it. Usually the description will give specifics as to why it did not make the "EX-" or higher grade.
VG This grade might refer to a sleeve that has completely split along one side or has heavy writing or other signs of abuse. See description for details. Very rarely do we sell a record in this condition.
G Total crap. As of yet we have never sold a record in this condition and we probably never will.
