Taking this summer to catch up on some releases that have slipped my attention this last year (or even further back…)

I’ve been meaning to say something about Jessy Lanza’s All The Time since we finally nabbed copies a few months back. A killer modern pop record that combines  perfect pop hooks and extended studio techniques with the skittering intricacies of her collabs and remixes of footwork stars (DJ Spinn & Rashad) alongside R’n’B grooves a la Patrice Rushen.
