I heard Babyfather's BBF and DJ Rashad's Double Cup in the same week. At the time I remember thinking this is the music of the future. While I was missing some context/history, I stand by that statement!
Dean Blunt and co. made an album that alludes to Hip Hop, Grime and other resourceful inner city subcultures without fitting anywhere neatly. It's a record that’s a deeply conceptual but also full of mystery, vibe and extra large tunes. - Nic
