Total Defeat - You Can't Win LP

Not saying that Total Defeat (Perth) would be the types to neglect hand hygiene or forego deodorant but on ‘You Can’t Win’ their shirts sound remarkably less clean than expected. While the tradition here is a devolution of the early USHC (United States Hardcore) template, embracing the crude and semi-absurd power potentials of low-fidelity recording and raw performance a la Urban Blight, Rapid Dye and Nosferatau, I can’t help but hear a smidgeon of scumfuk anthems like ‘Sleeping In My Piss’ and ‘Die When You Die’ (sorry!).

Whatever primitive recording machine they’ve used it has sufficiently captured some bodily fluids and an ugly, endured-enough-life-to-be-legitimately-fed-up inflamed joints and niggling back pain raw power.
