Stating the personnel involved in HOT TUBS TIME MACHINE, Marcus Rechsteiner (UV Race) and Daniel ‘Tubs’ Twomey (Deaf Wish/Lower Plenty), will probably grab our audience's attention better than my initially conceived sales pitch of "Saint Etienne meets Happy Flowers".

Their vinyl debut, following a cassette on Hideotic, has brought much joy to the store with their blend of pulsing electronic/live instrumentation, and lyrics that're funny and full of one-of-a-kind insights.

To throw a few more names in the mix, it's a dynamic that brought to mind Tasmania's Bi-Hour and Young Marble Giants. A record that's as satisfying as a visit to the local Lebanese bakery! (You know like a proper one, not joozed up/chain store one). - Nic
