Dehiscence - Colony LP

Dehiscence’s debut mini LP ‘Colony’ is an absolutely crucial contemporary grind/death disc. A crude-yet-powerful, focused cacophony that’s dizzying and energising in its rage. While it sounds like it could feature members of Internal Rot and Contaminated (it really does feel somewhere between Grieving Birth and Final Man), they’re actually from the Melbourne of North America, Portland.

Released in 2020 on cassette and CD and last year on LP by Blood Harvest (shout out to one of the best in the biz!), it’s a perfect gift for the death/grind dabblers who want to vary up their rotation of Repulsion, Caustic Wound, Insect Warfare and Napalm Death. - Nic
