Blod are back with another LP of cracked and conceptual folk, again exploring notions of faith and death in music. Here joined by other equally leading figures in the Gothenburg/Discreet Music/Euro outsider folk world, Astrid Øster Mortensen, Anna Johannesson, and Magnus Jäverling.

Organ intros, church music melodies, off kilter choirs, and out of tune recorder ensembles all pieced together in a lo-fi musical vignette method this latest record sounds like the Singing Nun collaborating with Jandek produced by The Shadow Ring. By not means the kind of church music schlock you find in the cheap bins!
