We are proud to present the debut album from E Fishpool.
E Fishpool (she/them) is a Yuin artist based across Budawang, Ngunawal/Ngunnawal and Ngambri Countrys.

Emily speaks processes of unlearning and (re)learning identity through sampling noise, dialect and field recordings - Seeking to understand diasporic identity, resurgence and healing through sound.

This is an hour long album that takes the listener through various ambient and experimental territories with a curious, exploratory demeanour. Since entering our orbit we have been obsessed with the intimate worlds Emily creates through their music. Taken by the fluid way this album has come together, the end result can be seen as a snapshot of Emily’s ever evolving practice, an exciting and prolific palette of ambience and personal reflection distilled into a release that feels simultaneously fully formed and completely liquid.

The cassette features a mixed version of the songs put together by Canberra based musician and DJ Genie.
